"Let me take this time to say R.I.P. to Phyllis Hyman Who never got the props that she damn well deserved" - Phife Dawg ('Baby Phife's Return') Phyllis Hyman was one of the most evocative vocal interpretators I have ever heard in my life. Her lower range was stunning, her higher range sweet like a nightingale. She bended lyrics with ease and brought meaning to the most trite writing. Sadly, Phyllis did not know her own self-worth and took her life on June 30th 1995. But we are celebrating what would be her 49th birthday on July 6th. You will find the following in the announcements section: 1). A music player with dozens of Phyllis's hits and LP tracks! 2). A flash photo tribute to highlight her stunning physical beauty! 3). LIVE video footage! Any thoughts, memories etc are welcome :)
